Open the Common Assessment Configuration Template
You can open the Specialty Common Assessment Config template from the specialty configuration homepage. On the Specialty Config Home template, select Common Assess Config from the left navigation bar. The Specialty Common Assessment Config template opens. Select the Product field, and select one of the following options from the list. IORTS. Select this option to configure settings for NextGen® Orthopedic Suite. ETS. Open the Custom Navigation Template
You can configure the navigation bar at the practice level. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select File > System \ Practice Template.The Select Template window opens. Specialty Configuration Home
You can use the specialty configuration homepage to open various configuration templates. The Specialty Config Home template helps you do the following: Open the configuration templates using the links in the Specialty System Sidebar. The links for each product are listed in their respective sections, and the Main section contains the links to templates that are common to all the currently installed NextGen Healthcare products. Read descriptions to understand the purpose of configuration templates. The templates and their descriptions for each product are provided in their respective sections, and the details in the Main section are applicable to the common templates of currently installed NextGen Healthcare products. Open Links from the Navigation Bar
You can quickly access the list of templates from the navigation bar. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select a patient record and open an encounter. To open the list of templates from the navigation bar, select Navigation. Parent topic: Navigation Bar

Open the Specialty Configuration Home
You can open the specialty configuration homepage using the file menu. Open the NextGen® Enterprise EHR application. From the File menu, select System / Practice Template.The Select Template window opens. Select Template Note: By default, the System tab is selected, and preferred templates are displayed on the Select Template window. If the *Specialty Config Home option is not displayed in the preferred templates list, select All in the Show section.All system templates are displayed.
