Security Group Category/Payer Overrides

Use Security Group Category/Payer Overrides grid to create alerts that users, based on their security group and the patient’s payer on the case, will see on the NTS Homepage template. The Allow and Prevent options work in conjunction with the Action column to override the setting of Bill & Sign permissions (see Security Group Category Bill & Sign Visit Type Permissions) when a payer is an exception to the general setting. Edit Security Group Category Permissions

To edit permissions for a security group category, move visit types between the three columns. In the Category Bill & Sign Visit Type Permissions grid, select a category. The smaller grids below display all visit types for the category. A picklist displays the columns you can move the visit type to. For example, if you select an item in the Sign Off column grid, the picklist options are Bill (moves the visit type to the Bill and Sign column) and Prevent (moves the visit type to the Prevent Sign Off column). Security Groups and Sign Off Panel

On the Security Groups and Sign Off panel, you can: Assign rights to a security group. Assign "Bill & Sign" rights to each security group category based on visit type. Create alerts based on the security group category and payer. Configure additional sign-off options as needed. User Sign-Off

The Sign off checkboxes are based on the selected visit type. Each sign-off checkbox is linked to specific security groups, as configured on the System Configuration system template. Sign off fields When Fee Sheet is submitted, the sign-off happens automatically for the therapist or supervising therapist. If your application is configured to require a supervising signature, an assistant, a new grad, or a student cannot submit the bill. They are instructed to sign off on the Single Visit template. After the sign-off, a task is sent to the supervising therapist to let them know that there is a chart ready for review. When the supervising therapist reviews the chart and submits the charges, the Supervising Therapist Sign off checkbox is selected. Note: You can configure Additional or configurable sign-off fields. Provide Sign-off Rights to a Security Group

On the Picklist Configuration practice template, expand the Provider & Clinical Staff Picklists panel. From the Template "Sign-off" Categories grid, select the desired category. In the field below the Security groups included in Category grid, select the security group to added to the selected Sign-off category. Add button for Security Groups in the Provider and Clinical Staff Picklists panel Click Add. The added group appears in the Security groups included in Category grid on selecting the corresponding Sign off category. Sign Off

The visit type selected determines which sign off boxes appear at the bottom of the template below the panels. Each sign off checkbox is tied to specific security groups as configured in the System Configuration system template. Sign off fields Upon submission of the Fee sheet, the system automatically marks the sign off checkbox for the Audiologist or Supervising Audiologist. If your system is configured to require a supervising signature, then a New Grad or Student will not be able to submit billing. They will be instructed to sign off on the Single Visit template. Upon signoff, a task is sent to the supervising audiologist to let them know that there is a chart ready for review. When they review and submit charges, the Supervising Audiologist Sign off checkbox is automatically marked as signed off. Note: Four additional/configurable signoff fields may be configured.
