Before you begin
Your practice must be configured to use the Rapid Flowsheet Worklog, and the patient must have an appointment for the current day (today) or the next clinical day.
- Open the NTS Rapid Flowsheet Worklog template by doing one of the following:
- Open a patient chart, select an encounter, and then, select the Rapid Flowsheet link on the Patient Information Bar. Your administrator must configure the link to appear on the bar.
- From the menu bar, select , and then on the Practice tab, select NTS Rapid Flowsheet Worklog.
- Open the NTS Homepage or NTS Single Visit template, and then select the NTS Rapid Flowsheet Worklog subnavigation link.
The
NTS Rapid Flowsheet Worklog template displays all patient appointments for the current day (today) that have a
BOOKED or
KEPT appointment status. By default, the filters show the location, rendering provider, and resource from the last time you used the worklog.
Note: If the template does not display any data, then you might not have permissions to use the template.
- Modify the filters as follows to display the appointments you want to see:
- To display specific appointments, select a provider, resource, or location.
- To include all items for a filter, select the asterisk (*) in the filter field.
- To clear all filters and display all appointments, select Cl.
For example, you can select a rendering provider to view only the appointments for that provider.
- To find the appointment you want to work on, review the Appt Status and Flowsheet Status columns.
The statuses determine which actions you can take. If you want to enter information before the patient checks in for the appointment, the Flowsheet Status column must display New or Pre-Staged.
- From the list of appointments, select a row to open the Rapid Flowsheet template.
The
Rapid Flowsheet template displays information from the patient's appointment. It also contains information from the
NTS Homepage from the last encounter. The patient’s name, sex, and birthdate appear in the panel headers. Depending on your configuration, the grid in the
Treatment panel may automatically display exercises from the patient's last encounter.
- Enter exercises and SOAP comments.
