The A/P Details link in the left side navigation opens the Assessment/Plan Details and Treatment template. Use this template to add as many impressions, comments, differential diagnoses, and patient and provider’s plans for a diagnosis, as necessary. Enter Therapy and Treatment Orders Not Previously Documented for Chiropractic Visits
You can enter chiropractic therapy and treatment orders that have not been previously documented in the system. In the Chiro Single Visit template, expand the Assessment/Plan panel. Under Plan Details, select the Physical Therapy Orders link. If you are using NextGen® Enterprise EHR 8, the Therapy Orders template opens. If you are using NextGen® Enterprise EHR 2021.1 or earlier, the PT Orders template opens. Enter detailed information about prescribed therapy orders for the patient including the diagnosis, treatment type, physician goals and the number of authorized visits. The system displays the number of authorized visits the patient has received in the General panel of the Subjective and Objective templates. In addition to creating the physical therapy order, a valid insurance authorization has to be set at the encounter level in order for the General panel on the Subjective and Objective templates to reflect the correct number of visits. Add Treatment Plan Details for Chiro Visits
In the NTS Chiro Single Visit template, expand the Assessment/Plan panel. In the Plan Details section, and then select A/P Details. The Chiro A/P Details template opens. If this is the first visit in this case, the Treatment grid will be empty. Afterwards, when you open this template, all entries in the grid copy forward from the prior visit. Chiro A/P Details template (blank) Select the Treatment field. A picklist of treatment items opens. Do one of the following to add all treatment activities you plan to use to rehabilitate the patient: Select the items from the picklist, and then select Close or Done. As you select each item, it automatically appears the Treatment grid. To enter a treatment that is not listed in the picklist, select the blank space in the list to close the picklist, and then enter the text in the Treatment field. Select Save.
