Enter Therapy and Treatment Orders Not Previously Documented for Chiropractic Visits
You can enter chiropractic therapy and treatment orders that have not been previously documented in the system.
In the Chiro Single Visit template, expand the Assessment/Plan panel.
Under Plan Details, select the Physical Therapy Orders link.
If you are using NextGen® Enterprise EHR 8, the Therapy Orders template opens. If you are using NextGen® Enterprise EHR 2021.1 or earlier, the PT Orders template opens.
Enter detailed information about prescribed therapy orders for the patient including the diagnosis, treatment type, physician goals and the number of authorized visits.
The system displays the number of authorized visits the patient has received in the General panel of the Subjective and Objective templates. In addition to creating the physical therapy order, a valid insurance authorization has to be set at the encounter level in order for the General panel on the Subjective and Objective templates to reflect the correct number of visits.
Select Save & Close.
