Template Headers for Displaying Patient Information

You can review template headers for patient and change the display. The template header is located below the Patient Information Card. On this header, you can review important details about patient visits, patient alerts, and risk indicators. The template header appears only when you open a standard visit template (for example, the Intake template) on a patient encounter. Work History, Precautions/Indications

The Job Title, Demand Level, Work Status, and Last Worked fields give you the opportunity to document the physical demands of the patient’s workplace and the patient’s work status. You can document whether the patient has any precautions or contraindications to treatment by entering them in the Precautions / Contraindications field. Document Medication Information

On the BH - Psychopharm template, expand the Medication Information panel. Answer the following questions with Yes, No, or Not applicable as applies: Takes meds as prescribed Changes in medical status Other meds Allergic reactions Side effects reported Note: All allergic reactions must be entered in the Allergies module to ensure that they are apparent on future visits. Click the Side effects reported link to open the Medication Side Effects - BH template. Entering information on the template automatically selects the Yes option in the Medication Information panel and turns the Side effects reported link purple to indicate that data is present from that link. At the top of the grid, click the Comments link if additional information is required. All prescriptions currently existing in the Medications module are visible in the grid under the Active Medications section. If a medication is Inactive, a stop date appears in the grid. Pre-Surgical Checklist Panel

The Pre-Surgical Checklist displays information that carries forward once information is entered. You can select the Y or N options to capture patient information. Additional information appears in red next to the items marked Y. Cardiac items with a Y, change to read-only. Pre-Surgical Checklist panel on the Surgery Scheduling template Note: The Cardiac Alerts button opens a Cardiac Alert window where you can add more information regarding the Cardiac Stent and Cardiac Valve. Indicators for Care Guidelines

You can view the patient's care guidelines which are due with the help of the indicators adjacent to the care guidelines link. Guidelines that are followed for the patient are listed in the left pane of the Care Guidelines Paged View and Care Guidelines templates. The Care Guidelines link initially do not indicate any guideline items for the patient. If the guideline items are due for a patient, then the indicators are visible. Home Page The care guidelines badge shows the number of care guidelines items that are due or not prescribed for the patient. The following indicators are visible: The Care Guidelines link used to open the Care Guidelines Paged View template displays a badge with a number. The number displayed on one badge may not be the same as the total numbers displayed on all the badges for guidelines listed in the left pane on both the templates. Care Guidelines Paged View Template

You can document the care guidelines details for a patient using the Care Guideline Paged View template. The Care Guidelines Paged View template displays items that are part of an active guideline whether it is due or not in the Care Guidelines panel which enables you to see the items that are part of the guideline set. If you want to change the Interval, Start Age or Stop Age, you can update the details Care Guidelines panel. An icon adjacent to the guideline is to indicate that two different conditions have been added to that guideline. An info icon for Needs Verification is to show removed or deleted implantable devices and inactive medications after a guideline is auto-applied to the patient's chart. You can manually remove outdated guideline using the Add/Update button.
