The Ordering field displays the name of the provider from the case properties. The Rendering and Supervising fields displays the Rendering and Supervising provider names from the encounter properties. The Primary Therapist field is an optional field. The Onset/DOI Date and Post Onset/Injury fields are read-only. They show the date of injury pulled from the case and the number of days and weeks since the injury occurred. The SOC Visits field tracks the total number of billable visits created for this patient since start of care. If configured, select the Start Time field to record the start time of the patient visit. Adjust a Patient's SOC Visit Count on Their First Visit

Before you begin You must be a user in the Admin, PT Signoff, or DC Signoff security category (on the System Configuration system template) to adjust an SOC count. If a patient started treatment under a previous EMR, you can override the SOC date and adjust the SOC count to reflect the number of visits the patient had before the practice started using NextGen® Therapy Suite. Note: You can adjust the SOC Visits count only on the patient’s first visit. On the NTS Homepage template, select the SOC Visits link. The SOC Visits count label appears as a link only on the patient’s first visit. The SOC Edit window opens. SOC Edit window In the Override SOC Date field, enter the actual start of care date for the patient. Adjust the SOC count to reflect the number of visits the patient had prior to the practice using the NextGen® Therapy Suite. Select Save & Close. Start of Care (SOC) Visits

On the NTS Homepage template, you can view the SOC count for the total number of billable visits created for the patient since start of care. However, if a patient started treatment under a previous EMR, you may need to override the SOC count on the patient’s first visit in NextGen® Therapy Suite. The SOC Visits count label is a link on the patient’s first visit. Document Patient History for Post-Operative Visits

You can document a patient's history such as details of the last injection, pain, medications, and allergies for a post-operative visit. On the Non Billable Visit template, expand the History panel. Enter the details of the last injection in the following order: Click the Last Inj field, select the last injection date, and then click OK. Enter the duration of the relief in hours, days, weeks, and months. Enter the details of pain as follows: Indicate the severity of the pain. Click the Pain Scale field, and select the pain scale from one to ten from the list. Click the Status % field, select the percentage of the pain status, and then click OK.
