Add Treatment Plan Details for PT/OT and Speech Visits

In the NTS Single Visit or NTS Speech Single Visit template, expand the Plan panel, and then go to the Treatment Plan section. If this is the first visit in this case, the Treatment grid will be empty. Afterwards, when you open this template, all entries in the grid copy forward from the prior visit. Select a category of treatment activities by doing one of the following: To enter general treatment activities, select Default. To enter treatment activities specific to a specialty, select a specialty category. Note: Administrators can configure categories and associated picklists in the NTS Picklist Manager practice template. Select the Treatment field. A picklist of treatment items opens. Do one of the following to add all treatment activities you plan to use to rehabilitate the patient: Select the items from the picklist, and then select Close or Done. Enter the Treatment Plan Summary

You can construct a summary of the physical, occupational, or speech therapy treatment plan by combining text with phrases selected from a picklist. In the Single Visit or Speech Single Visit template, expand the Plan panel. If you want to write the summary, select the Treatment Plan field, and then enter the text. If you want to select specific phrases from a picklist, do the following: Select the arrow button arrow button. A picklist opens. Select all necessary phrases in the picklist. As you select each phrase, it is automatically added to end of the Treatment Plan text. When you finish adding phrases, select Done or Close. Add Script to Note

You can generate a script document when you submit to superbill depending on how your practice communicates with ordering providers. If you have configured the payer to either not generate a POC document or not require the POC or script, you can generate a script document. Note: In the Finclass and Payer Settings panel of the System Configuration system template, you can set how you would like your practice to communicate with the ordering providers. Options include: require a POC, track a POC, use scripts, or none of these, based on the requirements of the financial class/payer. In the NTS Single Visit or NTS Speech Single Visit template, expand the Plan panel. If a payer is configured as either Script or None, the Add Script to Note checkbox appears below the treatment plan. Note: The Add Script to Note checkbox does not appear if: A payer is configured as either POC required or Track POC. Treatment Plan

The Treatment Plan field uses a multipick picklist that contains terms and phrases that Medicare looks for. You can also free type in this field. The grid below the Treatment Plan field lists which treatments are planned to rehabilitate the patient. If the Category field entry is Default, you see the general picklist for treatment items. If you select a category Women’s Health, Ped, Vestibular, Work Comp, or Low Vision, you see the picklists specific to those specialties. Note: Categories and associated picklists can be configured in the Picklist manager practice template. Use the Treatment Plan Misc field to type in miscellaneous notes about the plan. Treatment Plan fields When you make a change to the treatment plan grid after the POC has been established, a checkbox appears below the grid this checkbox is hidden when no changes are made. Treatment Plan Section

The Treatment Plan field uses a multipick picklist that contains items/phrases that Medicare is looking for. You can also type in this field. The Treatmentgrid below the Treatment Plan field lists the treatments planned for rehabilitating the patient. If you leave the Category field entry as Default, you will see the general picklist for treatment items. If you select a category, the picklist for that category appears. The standard available categories are: LV = Low Vision Ped = Pediatrics Ves = Vestibular WC = Work Comp WH = Women’s Health Note: Categories and associated picklists can be configured in the Picklist Manager practice template.
