View the Last Progress Note Date Information

Open a patient record, and then in Encounter History, expand a case and select an encounter. To view the encounter date of the previous evaluation or progress visit, open the NTS Homepage template for the patient, and then review the Last Progress Note date field. The Last Progress Note date field is updated when you submit charges on an encounter with the PT Progress visit type. To view the number of days and visits remaining until the next progress note is due, open a Single Visit template for the patient, expand the Case Details side panel, and then review the information in Last Progress Visit. The remaining time is calculated from the payer configuration in the Finclass and Payer Settings section of the NTS System Config template. Open the NTS Homepage template as the starting point for all visits. On it, you can view key information such as scripts, authorizations, KX modifier, and the plan of care. The application tracks this information and, when you open the NTS Homepage template, alerts you if action is needed. Generate Reports from the Report Dialog Window

Before you begin Because this application uses SAP® Crystal Reports® to produce reports, your practice or organization must have already set them up in the Report Dialog window. You can generate most of the reports for NextGen® Therapy Suite from the Report Dialog window. On the File menu, select Reports > Crystal Reports. The Report Dialog window opens. Note: If you want to generate the Open Cases, Productivity by Rendering Provider, or Productivity by Resource report, you must use the NTS Reports template. Generate Open Cases or Productivity Reports from the NTS Reports Template

Before you begin Because this application uses SAP® Crystal Reports® to produce the Open Cases, Productivity by Rendering Provider, and Productivity by Resource reports, your practice or organization must set them up in the Report Dialog window before you can generate these reports. You can generate the following reports from the NTS Reports template: Open Cases, Productivity by Rendering Provider, and Productivity by Resource. From NTS Homepage, select a visit type, and then select the Reports sub navigation link. The NTS Reports template opens. In the Locations grid, the practice ID (for example, 0001) appears with the associated location. NTS Reports template Expand the panel associated with the report, and then set the filtering options as needed. In the Fee Sheet Productivity Report by Rendering panel, enter the Start Date, End Date, Locations, and Providers filtering options. Work with Generated SAP Crystal Reports

After SAP Crystal Reports are generated, you can update the settings and work with them using the Report Dialog or by accessing certain reports from within other NextGen® Enterprise EHR modules. You can also access generated SAP Crystal Reports that are attached to a patient's chart using the NextGen® Enterprise EHR Encounter History or Categories tab. For example, you can do the following: View provider sign off details. View the properties of an SAP Crystal Reports within an encounter. Export an SAP Crystal Reports to NextGen® PxP Portal (for clients enrolled in NextGen® PxP Portal). View the history details of SAP Crystal Reports sent to NextGen® PxP Portal.
