Finclass Settings
Use the Finclass Settings grid to specify financial classes and payers within financial classes that: Require a Plan of Care (POC – Req) Track a Plan of Care (POC – Track) Use the Script document (Script) Require none of the above (None) In this grid, you can also set timeframe requirements for scripts and progress visits. Default CC -Financial Class
Use this section to attach a CC automatically to specific Financial Classes so it always shows up on Single Visit without the user having to attach it every time, in the CC section at the bottom of Single Visit templates. Add a Finclass or Payer Setting
In the NTS System Config template, expand the Finclass and Payer Settings panel, and then select the text field below the Fin Class Name column. A picklist opens that displays the full list of financial classes built in File Maintenance. Choose the financial class that you want to set up. (Optional) To apply your setting only to a specific payer in that financial class, select the text field below the Payer Name column. The default is all payers, indicated by an asterisk (*). Choose one of the options below the Script / POC column: POC – Req – a POC is required on all payers in this financial class. The POC will be generated as needed when the Fee Sheet is submitted, is tracked in the POC worklog, and must be signed off so that care can continue. POC – Track – a POC document will be generated as needed upon submission of Fee Sheet submission, be tracked in the POC worklog, and IF signed and returned will update the script on Homepage. If the POC is not returned, the staff can remove it

Add Carbon Copies
Carbon Copies are available for notes in the Carbon Copies area at the bottom of Single Visit template. To add a Carbon Copy, select the Providers button. Requiring Progress Visits
You can specify if a Progress visit will be required by number of days or number of visits, whichever comes first, for either the patient’s primary insurance or a payer listed anywhere on the case. Finclass Settings in the Finclass and Payer Settings panel of the System Config template You can configure the requirement for an entire financial class or a specific payer. Once set up, an alert appears when the NTS Homepage is opened to let the therapist know that a progress visit is needed on the visit. If configured, a Progress visit must be done on that visit, or you will not be able to submit charges; there will be a hard stop on Fee Sheet – cannot submit charges. You will not be able to submit charges on the Fee Sheet. Parent topic: Finclass Settings
