Enter any time that a therapist or assistant spent one-on-one with the patient in the
Individual
field.
Enter time that a therapist spent with the patients in group therapy in the
Group Time
field and enter the size of the group in the
Group Size
field.
If an assistant led the therapy for any portion of the time, indicate that in the
Asst Time
or
Group Asst Time
field, as applicable.
Note:
The checkbox near the
Asst Time
or
Group Asst Time
gets selected if the assistant time is more than the configured % of the total time.
Enter any comments about the therapy in the
Comments
field.

Enter Exercises
Select the Item field of the grid to enter an exercise. Select the Reps, Sets, and Resistance as appropriate. If the exercise was or should be performed in Shallow or Deep water, select the option to indicate that. If you are performing the treatment or exercise today, make sure that the D field has a checkmark. If the exercise is to be performed in a group, select the Grp group therapy checkbox. Selecting the Grp checkbox makes the billing code a group therapy code. If any exercises are done in group, you are prompted to document the total group time and the number of participants in the group. To indicate the treatment was or should be performed only on one side of the body, select a side under S. Select Add. The exercise is added to the grid. Parent topic: Aquatherapy Template

Entering Time for Treatments
You can document the unattended and individual time spent with a patient for each applicable code using the fields below each grid on the NTS Treatment template. If an assistant led the therapy for any part of the time, you can indicate that in the Asst Time field. You can enter the time that a therapist spent with the patients in group therapy in the Group Time field and enter the size of the group in the Group Size field. If an assistant led the group therapy for any part of the time, you can indicate that in the Group Asst Time field. Note: The checkbox next to the Asst Time or Group Asst Time fields gets selected if the assistant time is more than the configured % of the total time. If PT/OT students treat the patient under the general supervision of the therapist, you can enter the time in the Total General Supervised Student Time field. Visit Time
You can document the visit time for patients using one of the following methods based on your practice configuration done in the Single Visit section on the Practice Config practice template. If the application is configured to use the start and end timestamps to calculate total time for the patient visit, a Start Time button and field appear at the top of the Single Visit template, and Start Time and End time buttons and fields appear at the bottom of the template. Start Time and End Time fields on the Single Visit template If the application is configured to use manually entered total time, the Total Active Visit Time field appears at the bottom of the template. Note: If you change the minutes in Total Active Visit Time on the Single Visit template, you must reopen Fee Sheet to ensure correct calculations and documentation for the encounter. General Panel on the ASC - Intake Template
The General panel allows the nurse to document provider details and scheduled date and time of procedure. This panel includes the Patient check-in time field to enter the time when the patient arrives at ASC, and the Admission time field to enter the time when the patient was taken to the ASC suite. You can select the drop-down arrow to open the Time Entry template and enter the exact time in Hour, Minutes, and Seconds, or you can select the clock next to the time fields to input the current system time. Treatment Section
The treatment grid shows therapies and education that you have documented for the patient. You can document therapies completed with the patient using any of the treatment templates in the left-hand list. The therapies documented on the templates are billable, with the exception of the Education template, which always shows a billable Total Time entry of zero.
