Document Speech Testing and Other Treatments
You can document and bill for treatments specific to speech and language, devices, and audiology. You can document individual and group treatment. On the Speech Single Visit template, expand the Objective panel. Under Treatment, select Testing/Other Tx. The Speech Treatment template opens with sections for Speech/Language, Device, and Audiology. Treatment options in the Speech Treatment template For one-on-one treatment, select the appropriate Ind checkbox, and then document the time in Individual Minutes along with any details. For group treatment, select the appropriate Grp checkbox, and then document the Grp Size and the Grp Time. The Grp Size and Grp Time fields appear next to the total time fields only if an item is marked as being done in a group. Group Info fields To bill for remote therapeutic monitoring, select the appropriate options in the RTM Codes section, enter the minutes, and then document the RTM details in the Comments field. Document Patient Education for Speech Therapy
Open a patient record, and then in Encounter History, expand a case and select an encounter. Open the NTS Homepage template associated with the encounter, and then select an SLP visit type. Open the NTS Speech Single Visit template, and then expand the Objective panel. Under Treatment, select Education. The Speech Education template opens. Under Education, select a field to open a list of education descriptions, and then do one of the following: Select a description from the list to insert it into the field. Select Free Text to return to the field, and then enter a custom description of the education provided. Optional: Repeat the previous step to document additional patient education. In Patient and/or Caregiver Education, enter additional information related to the patient education or caregiver training. This information appears on the Plan of Care and Office Visit documents. Select Save & Close. The SLP Education row is added to the Treatment grid in the Objective panel. Parent top

Treatment Section
The treatment grid shows therapies and education that you have documented for the patient. You can document therapies completed with the patient using any of the treatment templates in the left-hand list. The therapies documented on the templates are billable, with the exception of the Education template, which always shows a billable Total Time entry of zero. Document Caregiver Education for Speech Therapy
You can document the speech therapy training the patient's caregiver receives in the patient's absence. The patient or representative must have given consent for this training. The caregiver training information appears on the Office Visit document. Open a patient record, and then in Encounter History, expand a case and select an encounter. Open the NTS Homepage template associated with the encounter, and then select an SLP visit type. Open the NTS Speech Single Visit template, and then expand the Objective panel. Under Treatment, select Education. The Education template opens in the Speech Education window. Select Patient consented to caregiver training. Select the appropriate checkbox that describes whether the caregiver training is for an individual or a group. For individual caregiver training, enter the total minutes of training time in Min, and then enter any therapist assistant-led training time in Asst. Testing/Other Template
Use the Testing/Other template to document Video Gait Analysis, Video Throwing Analysis, Testing/Other Treatments, and Wound Care. Testing/Other Treatment template When you complete entries, and then select Save & Close, the selected treatments from this template appear in the Treatment grid on the Single Visit template, broken out by type with the total time for each. Review Documented Treatments
You can review the details of past treatments that were entered in the Treatment grid. Note: There is no review template for the Add’l Modalities template. Select the treatment line in the Treatment grid. Treatment grid Select Review. The RINF Treatment template for the treatment opens. Because it is a view-only version of the treatment template, you cannot add or edit entries. After you finish reviewing the information, select Cancel to close the review template.
