Provider Workgroup Category

You can use the Provider Workgroup Category grid to configure File Maintenance workgroups based on providers for a given category. This is helpful when a category such as billing has different workgroup names or titles for different providers. Add a Workgroup Category

If the desired workgroup category is not listed, you can add a category. You can do this either by typing a category or selecting one from a picklist. On the Tasking Configuration practice template, expand the Tasking Workgroup Setup panel. Click the Location Workgroup Category field. If you click once, you can type in the field. You can also double-click the field, and select the desired category from the window that opens. An Add button appears when there is an entry in the field. Assign a Task

Select the task from the grid in the Tasks panel. Select the Task To: Type field next to the Assign To grid. Ainf Tasking Task To picklist opened from the Task To: Type field Select any of the following recipients: User (assign the task to a specific user) Workgroup (a workgroup picklist opens) Location Workgroup (a workgroup picklist opens) Supervising Provider (pull from encounter/case) Rendering Provider or Supervising then Rending Provider (pull from encounter/case) Ordering/Referring Provider (pull from encounter/case) Script Provider (pulls from the script fields on Homepage) Select Add. Automatically Task the Billing Staff Workgroup

You can automatically task the billing staff workgroup for all locations, even if they go by a different name at some locations. On the Tasking Configuration practice template, expand the Tasking Workgroup Setup panel. In the Location Workgroup Category field, select a category. Location Workgroup Category field in the Tasking Workgroup Setup panel All the locations for the selected category appear in the below grid. Select a location from the grid.
