Add a Replacement Document by Financial Class
Select the automatic document in the
Auto Documents on Fee Sheet
grid.
The document name enters the
Replacement Document for
field above the right-hand grid.
Select the field below the
Finclass Category
column and select the financial class category that this document will be generated for.
To set a specific exam to prompt the document override, select the field below the
Exam Override
column and select the exam. You can leave this blank.
Select the field below the
Replacement Document Name
column and select the name of the replacement document.

The replacement document name is added to the grid.

Remove a Replacement Document
Select the automatic document in the Auto Documents on Fee Sheet grid. The document name enters the Replacement Document for field above the right-hand grid. Select the document in the Replacement Document grid. Select Delete. Parent topic: Replacement Documents

Replacement Documents
If you have custom documents for specific financial categories or specific exams, you can configure the application to generate a replacement document based on the financial category of the visit. You can also configure the application to generate a different document based on a specific exam that has been completed for the encounter. In the example below, on a typical Evaluation visit, the system generates the Medications document. However, if the financial class is Medicare, the system generates a replacement document called Patient Plan instead of the original document. If the financial class is WorkComp, and the AINF_PT_work comp_function exam was completed for the encounter, the system generates a document called work_status_report. Configure a Financial Category Replacement Code
Select the code in the CPT Codes grid (in the CPT Codes panel) that you want to apply a replacement code for. Select the Financial Category field under the Financial Category Replacement Code grid. CPT Codes panel and Payer Specific Billing panel A picklist opens, of all financial categories that have been configured for your organization. Select the financial category, and then select OK. If this replacement only applies to a specific payer within a financial category, select the Payer Name field and select a payer from the list. Otherwise leave this field blank, and the replacement code will apply to all payers within that financial class. If this replacement applies only to a specific visit set, select the Visit Set field, and then select the visit set. Otherwise leave this field blank. Enter the replacement code into the Replacement Cpt Code field. Select Add/Update. The new entry appears in the grid. Parent topic: The Financial Category Replacement Code

Auto Documents on Fee Sheet
Use the Auto Documents on Fee Sheet grid to view and set up which documents are generated automatically on Fee Sheet, depending on the visit type selected by the therapist. If there is an asterisk * for the Visit Set, the application generates the assigned document for ALL visit types that have that visit type group assigned. If a specific Visit Set is selected (for example, Speech, Chiro, Audiology), the application overrides the default (*) and only generates the assigned document for that Visit Type Group. You can substitute a custom document for the default legal medical records, or have additional custom documents generate in addition to the legal medical record. Assign Financial Classes to Financial Categories
Select the field below the Financial Class column. A picklist opens of all of the existing financial classes you currently have built in your system. Select the financial class, and then select OK. The selection enters the field. Select the field below Financial Category. A picklist opens. Do one of the following: To use an existing financial category, select it, and then select OK. To create a new financial category, select the blank at the top of the picklist, select OK, and then enter the name of the new category into the field. Update an Automatic Document
You may want to update a document to send it to the offline document generator or to have a specific visit type also print the document. Select the document in the grid. The document information pulls to the text fields under the grid. Make any changes in the text fields. (optional) Select whether the document is printed or sent to an offline document generator.
