To input any objective notes, enter text in the field below the grid.

to add the note to the grid.
The notes display on the document for the encounter.

Edit a Note
Select a note in the grid. Select Edit, and then make changes in the window. A historical view of the note is saved. To view a historical view of an edited note, select Show Deleted. Parent topic: Notes

Generate a Note
On the Objective tab, navigate to the Documents and Printing panel. Click the Generate Note button. A list of available documents appears. Select a document from the list. A preview of the document appears from which you can choose to print the document. Parent topic: Documents and Printing

Notes
Use the Notes field to document anything regarding the treatment of the patient and notes to other therapists who might see the patient. Enter the note in the field below the grid, and then select Add. Notes appear on the office note document and are stored in the Notes grid for future reference. You can edit a note by highlighting it in the grid, selecting the Edit button, and then editing the text of the note in the window that opens. The system saves a historical edit/view of each note, that you can see when you select Show Deleted. Update Observations
On the Objective tab, click the Update button in the Observations panel to update previously entered information. Click Save & Close when done. Parent topic: Add Observations

Adding an Encounter Note
You can add an encounter note from a task for encounter, chart, and appointment source types. This option is available from the Notes tab on the Add/Edit Task window by right-clicking and selecting New > Encounter note. When you add encounter notes to encounter source types, the notes are added to the encounter.
