Create and Save a QuickPick

You can create a QuickPick for a template with any amount of information filled in. If the template has questions and answers, you can include only questions or both questions and answers to save as part of the QuickPick. You can save the QuickPick to a rendering provider or as a system set. Note: To save a system set QuickPick, you must be in a security group with configured rights in the QuickPick Manager Configuration template. For more information about setting up security groups for system sets, refer to the Configuration Guide for NextGen® Therapy Suite. Open the template you want to create a QuickPick for. Make selections and enter information you want in the fields you want to save in the QuickPick. Template with Save button highlighted In the QuickPick toolbar, select Floppy disk button. Access a QuickPick

To access a QuickPick, click the double star icon. A list of QuickPicks opens. The list is configurable to show only System Set QuickPicks, other providers’ QuickPicks, or both. If the list shows both, the System Sets have “System” in front of the name, and providers’ sets have the provider’s initials in front of the name. Configuring QuickPicks Settings

You can configure preferences for QuickPicks that open when you click the double-star icon. You can use the Double-Star Settings panel of the Specialty QuickPick Manager template to configure QuickPicks listed on the window that opens on clicking the double-star icon on the QuickPick toolbar. Double-Star Settings Using the options, you can select preference to display system sets, QuickPicks saved by other providers in the practice, or both. Use this panel to set which QuickPicks are viewable in the INF Td Set Filter picklist that opens when you click the double-star icon (Double star icon) on the QuickPick tool bar, and to select which security groups can manage QuickPick System Sets. Authorize a Group to Save System Set QuickPicks Authorize a Group to Save System Set QuickPicks Click the field below the Manage System Set Authorized Groups grid. A list of security groups opens. Double-click the security group you want to add, or select it and click OK. Click Add.
