This check box controls whether the IMO assessment search engine can be accessed throughout the application for users to add diagnosis codes (assessments). Use of the IMO assessment search engine is based on licensing and what is installed in your system. On the Practice Configuration practice template, expand the Global Settings panel. To enable IMO, select the This practice has IMO installed check box. A field opens on the right for the IMO product entry and the IORTS Get IMO Template List window opens. Select the Review of Systems Calculation Method

You can select the Review of Systems (ROS) calculation method on the Practice Configuration template. Open the Practice Configuration template. Go to E&M Coding and open the ROS Calculation Method section. For guidance on the ROS calculation method, select the information icon. Select one of the following calculation methods: HPI and ROS credit is given when symptoms are entered on HPI templatesNote: The ROS coding credit is not given when symptoms have been entered on the dynamic HPI templates. Document Review of Systems

The Review of Systems panel enables you to document the findings for a patient after reviewing a list of systems. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Intake - Cardiology template. Select the Review of Systems panel. Review of Systems On the left pane, do one of the following: To document ROS individually, click the required ROS system. To do a quick ROS, click Quick ROS. The Quick CARD ROS template opens. Quick CARD ROS Document the required information and click Save & Close. Evaluation and Management Coding

You can configure the settings in the Evaluation and Management panel on the Finalize template using the E&M Coding section on the Practice Configuration template. The E&M Coding section of the Practice Configuration template displays Evaluation and Management configuration options that apply to all specialties except Cardiology. The Cardiology-specific E&M settings are available in the Cardiology E&M Guidelines section of the Practice Configuration template. Document Review of Systems

The Review of Systems panel enables you to document the findings after reviewing a list of systems. Click Derm - ROS in the left pane to access the Dermatology - ROS template. Note: To copy the previous review of systems information to the current encounter, click ROS History. The Historical Information window opens, click Copy ROS & Close to copy previous review of systems information to the current encounter on the SOAP template. On the Historical Information window you can view Encounter Date, Provider, Reason for Visit/HPI, Diagnosis and copy System and Findings, Comments and Narrative to the current encounter. You can search or filter for specific content on the Historical information window by using the picklist available for each field except Findings,Comments and Narrative. For Findings, Comments and Narrative, you must type minimum 3 characters to enable the Search button.
