Create and Save a QuickPick

Open the Shoulder Exam template. Enter information in the template to be saved as your QuickPick. Shoulder Exam template Click the floppy disk icon in the upper right toolbar. Floppy disk icon The Create Custom Quickpick template opens. Create Custom Quickpick window Enter a name for the set in the Name field that describes what the QuickPick is intended to be used for. Click Add. When the QuickPick name is in the top grid, any user can access and use it for future patients and encounters under the star icon. QuickPick Toolbar

The QuickPick toolbar appears in the upper right below the workflow tabs of all NextGen® Therapy Suite templates. The first three buttons control QuickPick functions. The others perform more global functions: Refreshing Template Entries with Updates, Assigning Tasks from the QuickPick Toolbar, and Erasing All Template Entries. When the buttons are grayed-out, the functionality is disabled. QuickPick toolbar The Star button Star button opens QuickPicks for the rendering provider. Add a Task

You can create and assign tasks to users as an action items for them to perform. In the QuickPick toolbar, click the Task icon icon. The Add New Task template opens. Add New Task template Click the Task Name field. The Get Tasks window opens. Select the task from the Get Tasks window, and click OK. The Subject and Description fields are filled automatically. You can edit it, if required. Click the Due Date field, and select the due date to complete the task. Select the priority. Type the subject and description. Select the Attach Patient option if you need to attach the current patient to the task. Select the Attach Item option. If you select Current Template, the current template name appears in the blank field. If you select Template or Document, click the blank field to select the desired template or document. Update a QuickPick

Load the QuickPick onto the template using the star or double star icon. Make the necessary changes on the template itself. Click the floppy disk icon. The INF Default Save template opens. It automatically fills in the Name field with the name of the QuickPick that was loaded. As necessary, do the following: Change the name. Change or add comments. QuickPick Manager

Use the QuickPick Manager template to manage provider, system set, and user specific QuickPicks. You can see available QuickPicks, select security groups that can save system sets, determine what items are not saved on QuickPicks, enable and manage Get Data functionality, and track QuickPick usage. The QuickPick Manager template has the following panels: Double-Star Settings QuickPicks Exclusions and Inclusions QuickPicks Tracking Note: To populate information on this template, you must select a product in the Product field at the top of the template. Managing QuickPicks

The Specialty QuickPick Manager template is an additional way to add or update or delete QuickPicks from the NextGen® Therapy Suite templates. Most therapists will build and manage their quickpicks from the NextGen® Therapy Suite templates and not from the configurations, however this is an additional option if your therapists have access to the system/practice level templates. Specialty QuickPick Manager template The template has the following panels: Double-Star Settings. You can configure QuickPicks that are viewable when you select the double-star icon. You can also select which security groups can manage QuickPick system sets. QuickPicks. You can update and delete QuickPicks. Exclusions & Inclusions.
