QuickPicks are a way to enter standard visit information with fewer clicks, by saving the entries in a template after filling it out for a typical visit. For example, if you ask the same HPI questions for most total hip replacement post-op visits, you can save those questions as a QuickPick, so that when you click the QuickPick for another encounter, it fills the template based on what you saved, and you can then make just a few changes for that specific patient.
The refresh icon refreshes the entries on the template with any new information that has been entered recently (for example, by others working on the same patient’s chart elsewhere, or through a module in which you entered data).
The task icon opens the Add New Task template to be able to assign users action items for them to perform. The recipients receive task notifications via the Inbox.
The eraser icon in the QuickPick toolbar enables you to erase all information entered on the template. When you click it, a window opens for you to confirm that you want to erase all data. If you select Yes, the window closes and all entries on the template are erased. If you select No, the window closes.
