Update Document Configurations for Surgery Orders

You can update the configurations of document generations for surgery orders. On the Document Config system template, expand the Surgery Scheduling - Document Generation panel. In the configuration grid, select the configuration to be updated. The configured values appear in the corresponding fields below the grid. To update the value in the following fields below the grid, click the desired field, and select the option from the list. Document Group Surgery Location Admit Type Generation Type Make the desired changes in the other fields. Click Update. The document configuration for the surgery order is updated. Delete Document Configurations for Surgery Orders

You can delete the configurations of document generations for surgery orders. On the Document Config system template, expand the Surgery Scheduling - Document Generation panel. In the configuration grid, select the configuration to be deleted. Click Delete. The document configuration for the surgery order is deleted. Configure Document Generations for Surgery Orders

You can configure document generations for surgery orders based on the surgery location and admit type. On the Document Config system template, expand the Surgery Scheduling - Document Generation panel. Click the blank field for Document Group, and select the document group from the list. The list opens for the Surgery Location field. Select the surgery location from the list. Click the blank field for Admit Type, and select the admit type of the patient from the list. Click the blank field for Document Name, select the document to be generated from the document window, and click OK. Click the blank field for Generation Type, and select the document generation type from the list. To generate an offline document, select Offline. To print the document, select Print. Select one of the following options to define when to generate the document. PAQ Enabled PAQ Disabled Always Click Add. The document generation for the surgery order is configured. Document Configuration

You can configure the documents that generates after the patient encounters from the Document Config system template. You can also rename the office note according to provider's preference. Generating Documents for Canceled and Rescheduled Surgery Orders

You can generate documents for canceled and rescheduled surgery orders, and manage carbon copies configuration. On the Coordinator template, you can use the sections below the panels to generate documents for canceled and rescheduled surgery orders, and manage carbon copies configuration. If the surgery was canceled or rescheduled on the Surgery Sched template, the Cancelled or Rescheduled section displays the name of the staff who performed the action, and date and time of the action. Canceled and rescheduled documents on the Coordinator template You can generate documents for canceled, rescheduled, and revised surgery orders using the appropriate document Document icon icons. Clicking the Cancel, Reschedule, and R/S Postpone buttons open templates for respective optional workflows, where you can record the actions performed and who performed them. You can also enter the details of the carbon copies in the Carbon Copies section. You can configure the documents to be generated based on

Document Additional Surgery Information

You can document additional information for the planned surgery items of a surgery order. On the Surgery Order Management template, coordinators and surgery schedulers can view and edit the details of surgery orders from the Surgery Sched template. Do one of the following to open the Surgery Order Management template. Select a medical clearance record from the Orders Placed grid, and click Edit in the Place Order panel on the Surgery Sched template. Click Update in the Surgery Information panel on the Coordinator template. Click Update in the Authorization panel on the Pre Auth template. Select a record from the orders grid, and click Edit on the Surgery Scheduling Worklog template. The Surgery Order Management template opens displaying the details of the surgery order from the Surgery Sched template. Surgery Order Management template Update the surgery order as needed. Click Update, and then click Close. The surgery order is updated with the additional information, and the Surgery Ord
