Use the Dictation panel to remove dictation features on the NextGen® Orthopedic Suite templates for providers who do not use them. You can do this for the whole practice or for only specific providers.
Disabling the functionality removes the dictation icons from the
NextGen® Orthopedic Suite templates, as well as the
Dictate button on the
Finalize Visit template.
Note: Users who dictate using a method that delivers dictation directly to the NextGen® Enterprise EHR (for example, NextGen® Mobile or Nuance® Dragon) may choose to disable dictation so that their use of dictation does not require additional steps before the office note can be generated.
