You can enter original implant information in the Original Implant section. Click the Date field to select a date from the calendar prompt. Click the Type field to enter the implant type. Record the Antibiotics for Treatment
You can enter antibiotics being used to treat the infection. Click Add under the Antibiotics grid. The IORTSinf_tot_abx_DM template opens. Infected Total Antibiotics window Enter the Antibiotic being used. Enter the Route. Enter the Duration. Select Resolved to indicate that it has been resolved date and enter the resolved date. Enter Total Joint Labs
Use the Labs grid to track lab results. Click the Add button below the Labs grid. The IORTSinf_tot_labs_DM template opens. Infected Total Joint Labs window Enter the Date the labs were done. Click the Lab field to select the laboratory where the lab tests were performed. Enter the lab results in the ESR, CRP and/or WBC fields. Click Save to save your entries. Click Close. Reactivate an Implantable Device Record
In the Implantable Devices window, locate an inactive device record. If necessary, select the record to expand it and verify that you selected the correct record. Select Activate. The record updates to active status and a note is automatically added stating who activated the record. Select Save. The window moves the newly active device to the top of the list and adds the date and time of the re-activation. Parent topic: Implantable Devices List
