Record the Antibiotics for Treatment
You can enter antibiotics being used to treat the infection. Click Add under the Antibiotics grid. The IORTSinf_tot_abx_DM template opens. Infected Total Antibiotics window Enter the Antibiotic being used. Enter the Route. Enter the Duration. Select Resolved to indicate that it has been resolved date and enter the resolved date. Enter Total Joint Labs
Use the Labs grid to track lab results. Click the Add button below the Labs grid. The IORTSinf_tot_labs_DM template opens. Infected Total Joint Labs window Enter the Date the labs were done. Click the Lab field to select the laboratory where the lab tests were performed. Enter the lab results in the ESR, CRP and/or WBC fields. Click Save to save your entries. Click Close. Enter Original Implant
You can enter original implant information in the Original Implant section. Click the Date field to select a date from the calendar prompt. Click the Type field to enter the implant type. Enter Re-implant Information

Document the Medical/Infection History Panel
Open the Histories tab. Open the Medication/Infection History panel. Select the Default All to Neg. buttons. Document the patient's medical and infection history and you can update when required.
