Delete a Diagnosis

You can delete a diagnosis that was added on an encounter. Before you begin Make sure that the applicable template with the Diagnosis grid is open. In the Diagnosis grid, select the diagnosis. Diagnosis grid Click Remove. Note: If you are not on the encounter where the diagnosis was added, a message appears stating that the diagnosis can be removed only from the encounter where it was added. The Reason window opens. Diagnosis Details of Patients

The Diagnosis grid displays the orthopedic diagnoses or general medical diagnoses of the patient, depending on the selected option above the grid. The Diagnosis grid displays data entered on the applicable templates of the NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine and NextGen® Orthopedic Suite. You can also add, edit, and remove diagnoses of the patient. Diagnosis grid Add the Patient's Diagnoses Edit a Diagnosis You can edit the description of a diagnosis. Update Diagnostic Details

You can update the test result records in the Diagnostic Details template. Open the Diagnostics Details templateThe diagnostic study details records are available in the result details grid. Select a record in the result details grid to update. Update the necessary fields. Select OK. Note: You can delete a record using the Remove button. Add Surgery Diagnoses

You can add the surgery diagnoses applicable to the surgery order. Open the Surgery Sched template. Diagnoses on the Surgery Scheduling template In the Surgery Information panel, click DX Codes. The IORTSSurg Dx Sx template opens. Note: The Diagnosis grid on the IORTSSurg Dx Sx template displays the orthopedic or medical history of the patient depending on the selection at the top of the grid. IORTS Surg SX DX template Double-click the diagnosis in the Diagnosis grid to move it to the surgery order. Note: You can add up to eight diagnoses to the surgery order. If you add a diagnosis by mistake, you can remove it by clicking the corresponding eraser icon. You can also add, edit, and remove diagnoses on this IORTSSurg Dx Sx template. Click Save & Close. The first three diagnoses added to the surgery order are displayed in the Diagnosis grid on the Surgery Sched template. Parent topic: Surgery Details of Patients

Add an Assessment

Click the Add - Remove button below the Today’s Diagnosis grid. The IORTS FV Add Assess template opens. IORTS FV Add Assess template Double-click the diagnosis in the patient’s Diagnosis grid to add it to the Today’s Diagnosis grid. Note: If a diagnosis is not in the Diagnosis grid, you can find and add it by using the Add button (or the Problem IT button if your practice is configured to use IMO). Click Close. Document Diagnoses and Lab Tests

You can document diagnoses and lab tests, and place orders for pre-operative lab tests. On the Coordinator template, in the Medical Clearance panel, click Lab Order 2. The Lab Order 2 template opens. IORTS Lab Order 2 window To add diagnoses to a lab order, do the following: Click DX Codes. The IORTSLabOrder Dx Sx template opens. Note: The Diagnosis grid on the IORTSLabOrder Dx Sx template displays the orthopedic or medical history of the patient depending on the selection at the top of the grid. You can add, edit, and remove diagnoses on this template. IORTS Lab Order SX DX window In the Diagnosis grid, double-click the diagnosis. The selected diagnosis is added to the grid on the right side. Note: You can add up to four diagnoses to the lab order. If you add a diagnosis by mistake, you can remove it by clicking the corresponding eraser icon. Click Save & Close. The IORTSLabOrder Dx Sx template closes. The diagnoses details are added to the diagnosis grid on the Lab Order 2 template.
