Submitting Charges to Finalize a Visit

You can enter the visit details, today's diagnoses, and procedures to submit charges and finalize visit. You can use various sections on the Finalize Visit template to add data and submit charges for finalizing a visit. In the Non-Billable & Initial Fracture Care grid, you can select the appropriate option for the current workflow to add it to the coding grid. When you select any option except No services rendered in the Non-Billable & Initial Fracture Care grid, the IORTSfinalize Po window opens for entering the dictation used for any part of the visit. If dictation is not configured for the provider or the practice, the IORTSfinalize Po window does not open. For the options that have associated task configured, the Add New Task window opens before the IORTSfinalize Po window. After you assign the task to the desired user or work group and close the Add New Task window, the IORTSfinalize Po window opens. Document Providers and Patient Histories for Preregistration

You can add patient histories and the details of the providers for preregistration of a patient. On the Pre Reg template, click the Clinical 1 tab. The Clinical 1 template opens. Clinical 1 template Note: The fields in the Appointment, Contact Information, and Best Time sections are automatically filled with the values on the Pre Reg template. You can update the fields below Best Time. Double-click the Pharmacy field. The Preferred Pharmacy window opens. Add the preferred pharmacy for the patient. Review the preferred pharmacy, and select Reviewed. Review the following details, and select All Reviewed. Access the FC Past Med Hx Template

You can access the FC Past Med Hx template from the Home template. On the Home template, click the New Fracture tab. The Navigation window opens. Select any fracture care template from the list, and click OK. The selected template opens. On the fracture care template, click the Past Med Fx tab. The FC Past Med Hx template opens. Document Pre-Operative History and Physical Examinations

You can review patient histories, document physical examinations, and add diagnosis details. On the Intake template, click the Non-Billable tab. The Navigation window opens. Select Pre-op H&P from the list, and click OK. The Pre-op H&P template opens. Note: The Patient is accompanied by field displays the data documented on the Intake template. You can change the value as needed. History panel on the Pre-op H and P template In the History panel, review the chief complaint, patient histories, medications, and allergies. Document Patient History for Post-Operative Visits

You can document a patient's history such as details of the last injection, pain, medications, and allergies for a post-operative visit. On the Non Billable Visit template, expand the History panel. Enter the details of the last injection in the following order: Click the Last Inj field, select the last injection date, and then click OK. Enter the duration of the relief in hours, days, weeks, and months. Enter the details of pain as follows: Indicate the severity of the pain. Click the Pain Scale field, and select the pain scale from one to ten from the list. Click the Status % field, select the percentage of the pain status, and then click OK. Patient History

You can review, add, and update the patient histories. The History panel on the Billable Visit template enables you to select the visit type and review the diagnoses, histories, medications, allergies, and review of systems of a patient. You can also add or update the details of the history of present illness (HPI). The following grids are automatically filled with the data documented on the Intake template. You can add, edit, and remove the data as needed.
