Configure Financial Classes to Exclude Surgery Locations
You can configure financial classes that excludes certain surgery locations.
On the
IORTS Cfg Surgery Schedule
system template, expand the
Location
panel.
Under
Payer/Location Exclusions
section, from the
Location
grid, select the location to be excluded.
In the field below the
Financial Classes
grid, select the financial class that needs to exclude the selected location.
Click
Add
.

Remove a Financial Class from Exclusions
You can remove a financial class from the exclusions grid, if the financial class no longer excludes that surgery location. On the IORTS Cfg Surgery Schedule system template, expand the Location panel. Under Payer/Location Exclusions section, from the Location grid, select the desired location. All the financial classes which excludes the selected location appear in the Financial Classes grid. Select the desired financial class, and click Delete. Parent topic: Managing Surgery Locations

Move Payers Out of the Surgery Location Exclusion List
If a payer does not exclude surgery at a location and the financial class from which payer belongs to excludes surgery at that location, you can remove the payer from the exclusion list. On the IORTS Cfg Surgery Schedule system template, expand the Location panel. Under Payer/Location Exclusions section, from the Location grid, select the desired location. Payer exclusion lists in the Location panel All the financial classes which excludes the selected location appear in the Financial Classes grid. Select the desired Financial Class. All the payers in the selected financial class appear in the Payers excluding selected surgery location grid. In the Payers excluding selected surgery location grid, select the desired payer. Configure the Surgery Location Picklist
You can configure the Location picklist that appear on the Surgery Sched medical record template. Location field on the Surgery Scheduling template The Location picklist on the Surgery Sched medical record template contain all the locations where surgery can be performed. On the IORTS Cfg Surgery Schedule system template, expand the Location panel. From the Surgery Location grid, select one or more locations. Surgery Location section in the Location panel To select all locations, select Select All check box. A check mark appear before all the selected locations in the Surgery Location grid. Remove a Financial Class From an Exclusions Type
You can remove a financial class from an exclusions type if the financial class no longer excludes that type of visit. On the Billing Configuration practice template, expand the Exclusions panel.
