Configure Financial Classes to Exclude Surgery Locations

You can configure financial classes that excludes certain surgery locations. Payer/Location Exclusions section in the Location panel On the IORTS Cfg Surgery Schedule system template, expand the Location panel. Under Payer/Location Exclusions section, from the Location grid, select the location to be excluded. In the field below the Financial Classes grid, select the financial class that needs to exclude the selected location. Click Add. Parent topic: Managing Surgery Locations

Remove a Financial Class from Exclusions

You can remove a financial class from the exclusions grid, if the financial class no longer excludes that surgery location. On the IORTS Cfg Surgery Schedule system template, expand the Location panel. Under Payer/Location Exclusions section, from the Location grid, select the desired location. All the financial classes which excludes the selected location appear in the Financial Classes grid. Select the desired financial class, and click Delete. Parent topic: Managing Surgery Locations

Configure the Surgery Location Picklist

You can configure the Location picklist that appear on the Surgery Sched medical record template. Location field on the Surgery Scheduling template The Location picklist on the Surgery Sched medical record template contain all the locations where surgery can be performed. On the IORTS Cfg Surgery Schedule system template, expand the Location panel. From the Surgery Location grid, select one or more locations. Surgery Location section in the Location panel To select all locations, select Select All check box. A check mark appear before all the selected locations in the Surgery Location grid. Managing Surgery Locations

You can manage surgery locations where surgeries can be performed from the Location panel of the IORTS Cfg Surgery Schedule system template. You can also configure financial classes and payers that exclude certain locations. Move Payers Out of the Exclusion List

You can move specific payers from the exclusion list if they allow the office visit type. On the Billing Configuration practice template, expand the Exclusions panel. From the Exclusion Type grid, select the office visit type. From the Financial classes grid, select the financial class. In the Payers in the exclusion list grid, select the payer. Manage Payers for Non-Billable Procedures

You can add or remove payers in the exclusion list for a financial class. For a financial class associated with a non-billable procedure, you can manage the exclusion list for payers that require specific International Classification of Diseases (ICD) codes to be sent for the procedure. On the Billing Configuration practice template, expand the Non-billable panel. Non-billable panel on the Billing Configuration template Select a procedure from the Procedures grid. The procedure description, Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) code, and ICD code are automatically filled in their corresponding fields, and the configured financial classes are displayed in the Financial Classes grid.
