Record Eye Movement Test Findings
On the Skills/Motility - OPT template, expand the Visual Skills panel. In the Eye Movement Test section, for Non-Adjusted Times, Errors, Ratio do the following: Enter the Vertical test Time and number of Errors. Enter the Horizontal test Time and the number of Errors. The system fills the Ratio field with the horizontal time divided by the vertical time. For Adjusted Times and Ratio fields, do the following: Enter the Vertical test Time or select Same as Non-adjusted. Enter the Horizontal test Time or select Same as Non-adjusted. The new Skills/Motility - OPT template is available when you select the Office Visit visit type for the Optometry specialty. You can review and add findings for Visual Acuity and Lensometry/Refraction. Enter Visual Acuity Findings
To document visual acuity, you can select OD and OS values and modifiers, as appropriate. The system moves you to the next field as you document each parameter. For example, after you document the OD Dva sc and modifier, the picklist opens for OS Dva sc. In the Visual Acuity panel, click Add. The Oph Eyetech template opens. Select the OD value for Dva sc. The modifier pick list opens. Select a modifier from the list or click the blank row at the top of the list if no value is needed. The system moves to the OS value for Dva sc. Repeat the steps above for each parameter. Enter the Correction Type and Vision Method. Enter the Comments for OD, OS, or OU. Click Add. Document Aspiration Procedure Information
You can manually document aspiration procedure in the Procedure Type panel on the MICS Injections/Aspirations template. You can manually document the aspiration procedure in the following fields or using a Quickpick. On the MICS Injections/Aspirations template, expand the Procedure Type panel. Select the Procedure Type as Aspiration. In the Admin Type field, select administration type. The Body Parts picklist opens. Select the body part from the picklist, and select OK. The Sides picklist opens. Select the side from the picklist, and select OK. The Locations picklist opens. Select the location from the picklist, and select OK. The Portal/Approach picklist opens. Select the portal and approach from the picklist, and select OK. All the fields display the values you selected. The CPT code field is filled based on the Admin Type selected. The Modifier field is filled based on the Side selected. To associate a diagnosis code with the procedure, select a diagnosis in the Diagnosis field. Not

Visual Acuity Exam Findings
Visual Acuity findings are documented for an exam parameter followed by a modifier for the finding by selecting values from serial lists. Parameters are organized into rows for the following: OD, OS, OU. Parameters include Distance visual acuity (Dva), Intermediate visual acuity (Int va), and Near visual acuity (Nva). For each parameter, there are two fields. The first field for a parameter is used for the finding value. The second field for a parameter is used for the modifier value for the finding. visual acuity parameters OD and OS findings and their modifiers are selected from serial lists. After documenting finding and modifier values for an exam parameter for OD, the parameter finding list for OS opens so you can document a finding and modifier for the parameter for OS.
