IOP Measurements IOP Measurements The settings in the IOP Measurements section of the Eye Configuration practice template enable practices to choose whether to display fields for documenting measurements using kilopascal values, and to define high and low abnormal values for measurements in mm Hg and kPa on the IOP panel or section of exam templates. The Health Monitor Intervals section on the Eye Configuration practice template enables practices to decide the time interval for tests. These time intervals are reflected in the Health Monitor section. This is a practice-wide setting, and practices need to review the settings as packaged with the system and makes changes as appropriate. health monitor section When an exam or test has been performed for a patient, the last date it was completed appears in the date field corresponding to that exam or test. Health Monitor

In the NextGen® Ophthalmic Suite, the Health Monitor follows testing and procedures of interest to ophthalmic providers and displays the last date the test was performed. Time frames for the ophthalmic tests and procedures are configured on the Eye Configuration practice template. For more information about the Eye Configuration practice template, go to the NextGen Healthcare Success Community and download the latest Setup Guide for NextGen® Ophthalmic Suite. The system updates the date field automatically when the corresponding test is performed during a visit. Eye Configuration Practice Template

The Eye Configuration practice template contains configurations specific to the NextGen® Ophthalmic Suite. The Eye Configuration practice template enables you to do the following: View the install date and current version of the NextGen® Ophthalmic Suite.
