Contagion Risk

The Contagion Risk link is available on every main Ophthalmic template. The Contagion Risk link and the corresponding badge count are used to indicate when the patient is at risk of being exposed to contagions. The Contagion Risk link opens the Contagion Exposure template. The Contagion Exposure template is used to document patient exposure to contagions and any travel to areas with a high risk of exposure to contagions. You can view historical information for risk of exposures to contagions and an exposure log for the patient in the corresponding grids.

You can add, update, remove, or deactivate contagion exposure information from the Contagion Exposure History grid when working on an unlocked encounter. When you enter a contagion on the Contagions Exposure template, the contagion is automatically flagged and remains in the badge count until it is deactivated.
