Document Public Health Case Reporting

Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Intake template, select the Family Practice specialty and Office Visit visit type, and then select Contagion Risk. From the Contagion Exposure History grid, select an exposure, and then select Puiblic health case reporting.The Public Health Case Reporting window opens. Public Health Case Reporting window Enter the contact person's name and address. Select the type of animal. Document Contagion Risks

You can document information about the patient's contagion exposure and their travel to areas at high risk for such exposures. You can add, update, remove, or turn off contagion exposure details in the Contagion Exposure History grid when working on an unlocked encounter. You cannot modify information in a locked encounter. The contagions details are automatically flagged until turned off. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Intake template, select the Family Practice specialty and Office Visit visit type, and then select Contagion Risk.The Contagion Exposure template opens. Select the type of document. Deactivate a Zika Pregnancy Screening Record

You can deactivate a Zika pregnancy screening record from the Contagion Exposure template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select an adult female patient and an encounter. On the Intake template, select the Contagion Risk link.The Contagion Exposure template opens. Select the record in the Contagion Exposure History grid. Contagion Exposure History Select the Deactivate checkbox. Select Update.The deactivated date appears in the respective grid row. Note: A deactivated record cannot be updated. The badge count decreases on the patient header after the record is deactivated. The Contagion Exposure Log grid includes the log entry. If you modify any travel data and it is still positive for exposure, the Contagion Exposure History grid data is updated and the Contagion Exposure Log entry is created in the Contagion Exposure Log grid. Manage Risk Level

You can update or remove a risk level. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On a patient encounter, open any of the standard visit templates (for example, the Intake template). On the template header, select the Risk Level link. The Risk-Stratification template opens. To update the risk level, do the following:Risk Level Select the risk level you want. The Level selected field appears above the columns indicating the selected level and the application automatically fills the Modified by and Date fields. Enter your comments. Select or clear the following check boxes as applicable: Include on Master document Include on Patient Plan document Select Save & Close. The number appears to the left of the Risk Level with a count indicating the selected risk level (1-6) and associated level color. To remove a risk level, do the following: Select the History link. Remove Contagion References

Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. In the top grid of the Custom DB Picklists template, select Contagion reference links. Select Configure.The Contagion References template opens with pre-configured data in the grid. Select the row of contagion you want to remove. Select Remove.The selected row is removed from the grid. View a Clinical Reference for Guideline Items

You can view the clinical references for a recommended care and care guideline orderable items on the Activate Care Guidelines template. You can view the web-based clinical reference for recommended care and care guideline orderable items. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select the Care Guidelines link on any of the main template.The Care Guidelines template opens. Select Add/Update in the Care Guidelines panel. The Activate Care Guidelines template opens.
