You can indicate that a particular type of contagion risk is inactive.
 
  - Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
 
  - On a patient encounter, open any of the standard visit templates. (for example, the Intake template).
 
  - On the template header, select the Contagion Risk link.
   
    The 
Contagion Exposure template opens. 
    
    Note: The exposure fields are disabled until you select an exposure in the exposure list.
    
 
    
  - Select the type of exposure from the Contagion Exposure History grid.
 
  - Select the Deactivate check box and select Update.
   
    The flag icon disappears in the "*" column and the badge count next to the 
Contagion Risk link on the template header decreases. 
    
Note: You cannot modify a record that is deactivated in the Contagion Exposure template.
