Configure Ophthalmic Tests for the Order Module
The following steps outline the steps you need to submit ophthalmic tests to the Order module using CPT4 codes.

Note: The Oph diagnostic tests data set manages records that control how ophthalmic diagnostic tests are processed. These fields provide the information that you need to configure the test correctly.
The fields with an * represent the fields in the oph diagnostic tests data set record.
Add a test to the Order Tests master file in File Maintenance using the following information:
- System- enter the *Vendor Name from the corresponding data set record.
- Key- enter *Billing/Test code from the corresponding data set record.
- Description- enter the *Test type from the corresponding data set record.
- Order Type- enter Radiology.
- Code System- enter R.
- Map the NextGen Compendium Test Key to the *Billing/Test code from the corresponding data set record.
- Map the CPT4 Codes to the *Billing/Test code from the corresponding data set record.
