Add SNOMED Code for an Ocular Disease and Procedure
In the Custom DB Picklists top grid, select OPH OcularHistory.
The selected DB picklist OPH OcularHistory appears in the DBPicklist Name field. Items in the OPH OcularHistory DB picklist appear in the Step 2 Add/Edit List Items grid.
Click Configure.
The Ocular History Setup template opens with pre-configured data list items displaying in the grid.
To add a new SNOMED code, click the Add New List Item link.
The fields above the grid become available for documentation.
To configure the SNOMED codes for an ocular disease or procedure accessible to a specific practice, click the Practice ID field and select the practice.
Click the Category field and select an ocular disease.
Click the Disease/Procedure field and select either disease or procedure to group the SNOMED code with the selected Category.
Enter the SNOMED Code Value.
Enter the Description to associate with the Code Value for the selected Category and Disease or Procedure.
Click Add.
The new ocular disease or procedure details appear in the grid.
Click Close.
On the run-time Ocular History - OPH template, you can select the SNOMED codified disease and procedure configured for the selected category of disease.
