Select a Clinic

Open NextGen® Mobile Cloud Portal. Select Clinic. The list of available clinics appear. Search for and select a clinic you want to work with. The clinic data is loaded in NextGen® Mobile Cloud Portal. Optional: To download direct to desktop application, select NextGen D2D. For more information on NextGen D2D, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download the latest NextGen®Mobile Solutions iOS User Guide. The application is downloaded to your computer. Set Up Your Profile

You can configure your account profile settings, including personal information, password management, enrollment notifications, and dashboard preferences, in My Profile. Open NextGen® Mobile Cloud Portal. Select your username.My Profile opens. In Manage Your Profile, enter the necessary information. You can select Default Tab to automatically open the specified tab when you open NextGen® Mobile Cloud Portal. In Manage Your Password, enter and confirm your password. To view the job activity for dictating providers in your clinic on the dashboard, in Dashboard Configuration, select the Select All checkbox or choose from the Select Providers list. NextGen® Mobile Cloud Portal supports and tracks the usage of NextGen® Mobile. You can manage the clinic jobs, users, and other resources contained in the NextGen® Mobile deployment. You can also monitor and report on-job activity, and send messages to communicate with other NextGen® Mobile users. Turn On Patient Summary in NextGen® Mobile Cloud Portal

You must turn on the Patient Summary option in NextGen® Mobile Cloud Portal to make the Patient Summary button available in the NextGen® Mobile patient chart. Open NextGen® Mobile Cloud Portal. Select Manage Clinics, and then select Permission Groups. Search for and select the group. Edit Permission Group opens. Edit Permission Group tab In the Products tab, assign the mobile products. Select the Permissions tab, and then in Mobile : Patient Details, select the Patient summary checkbox. Patient summary option in permission group Select Save, and then select Save & Close. Generate the Patient Summary from the Patient Chart

Before you begin The clinic administrator must turn on the Patient Summary option for a clinic in NextGen® Mobile Cloud Portal. NextGen® Mobile Pro users can generate a quick summary of a patient's medical information by selecting the predefined prompts in the patient chart. Note: The generated patient summary remains in NextGen® Mobile for 24 hours from the generation time. Open NextGen® Mobile. Open the Patient Chart view of the patient. Turn on Patient Summary. The details of the Summary tab with the predefined prompts appear. Patient chart displaying pre-defined prompts Note: A message about your patient summary quota limit appears. You can select Contact Me to upgrade the monthly limit. Select a predefined prompt, and then select I Understand in the disclaimer. Note: The disclaimer appears only when you generate summaries for the first time. The summary for the selected prompt is generated and displayed with the generated date and time and feedback options. View User Accounts

Open NextGen® Mobile Cloud Portal. Select Manage Clinics, and then select Users. The green check mark in Dictation Setup indicates that the user is setup with the mobile dictation. By default, the results are sorted alphabetically by name. You can sort the data by selecting the column header, and you can rearrange the columns by selecting and dragging the columns. Users opens displaying the users list. Search for and select a username. You can select the Dictators, Notification Preferences, Macros, and Personal Dictionary tabs to view and edit the corresponding details. Edit User opens displaying the User Information tab by default. You can view the username, additional information, and the assigned permission group details. Optional: To view the deactivated users, select Show Disabled Users. Optional: To export the list of users to a Microsoft Excel®, select Export to Excel. The list is downloaded to your computer.
