You can search for and select the patient's diagnoses to map to laboratory and radiology tests for the selected encounter. You can also remove the patient's diagnoses, if needed.
Open NextGen® Mobile.
Open the Patient Chart view for your patient.
Select Today's Visit.
Note: You must select an unlocked encounter or you can create an encounter.
In NextGen® Mobile, the Orders section is available for NextGen® Enterprise EHR version 6.0 and later.
Select + Add next to Orders.
The + Add option is not available on locked encounters and for non-NextGen® Enterprise users.
The Select Order Type view opens displaying the Laboratory and Radiology order types.

Note: After upgrading, when you select an order type for the first-time, the Ambient Orders view opens with all the performing entities selected by default. For specific performing entities test suggestions, you can clear the other entities.
The respective New Order view opens displaying the patient demographic, clinical, and performing entity information.
To add a diagnosis to the current encounter, select the Diagnostic icon, and then select from the Add Diagnosis view.
The added diagnosis appears under Select Diagnosis.
The patient's diagnoses added from NextGen® Enterprise EHR also appear in the Select Diagnosis.
To link more diagnoses to the selected tests, select next to Select Diagnosis.
The Select Diagnosis view opens displaying the patient's previous encounters' diagnoses in the Patient Diagnosis section.
Enter the first three letters of a diagnosis, select the diagnosis, and then select Done.
The diagnosis appears in the Select Diagnosis section in the New Order view.
Optional: To remove a diagnosis, select corresponding to the diagnosis, and then select Done.
