Diagnosis dynamic tags appear on a job based on the selected diagnosis to capture dictation, and return it to a specific field in NextGen® Enterprise EHR for that diagnosis code. Depending on the diagnosis code entered, up to five dynamic tags types can appear for each diagnosis, including the following:
- Impression
- Differential Diagnosis
- Patient Details (this equates to Plan Details)
- Provider Details
- HPI
When a provider initiates a job configured with diagnosis dynamic tags, the system checks the diagnosis code for the encounter and displays the configured tags on the dictation job view for the provider to record dictation on the diagnosis.
Note: As multiple diagnoses codes can be entered, the tags for each entered diagnosis code are further identified by the specific diagnosis name that appears for the tag type.
After the provider completes the dictation and sends the job to NextGen® Enterprise EHR, the dictated data is saved in the template fields configured for each tag.
