You can create an encounter using the default current date or you can select an earlier date. You cannot create an encounter with a future date.
- Open NextGen® Mobile.
- On the menu bar, select Schedule.
The Schedules window opens.
- Select the patient.
The Patient Chart window opens.
- Select the Encounter field.
The Patient Encounters window opens.
- To select a different date for the encounter, do the following:
- Select the Create Encounter field.
The date selection view appears.
- Select the desired date.
- Select Done.
The Patient Encounters window displays the selected date.
- To create an encounter, select Create Encounter.
The Patient Chart window opens with the current date in the Encounter Date field. The details of the most recent encounter for the selected patient appears.
- Optional: If necessary, edit the encounter data.
