Follow-Up and Timeframe Panel

Use the grids on the Follow-Up and Timeframe panel to configure the picklists that open for the Follow-Up and Timeframe on the MICS Injections/Aspirations template or the MICS MedAdmin OPH template. The Follow-Up and Timeframe grids list items alphabetically. They do not come pre-loaded. Since you cannot type into the Follow-Up and Timeframe fields, to enter anything in them, you must add at least one entry to their picklists. Configuring Procedure Information Picklists

You can configure picklists related to procedures, body parts, and locations for several medical record templates. On the Medication Picklist template, you can use the Administering Template Body Part/Location panel to configure picklists for fields related to procedures, body parts, sides, and locations on the following medical record templates. MICS Dispensing MICS Injections/Aspirations MICS Med Management MICS MedAdmin OPH Administering Template Body Part/Location panel By default, the Active option is selected for all grids. When you select an option in the Template field, the grids are displayed in this panel based on the picklist requirements for the selected template. Configuring Manufacturer and Unit Type Picklists

You can configure picklists for the Manufacturer and Unit Type fields used on the Medication & Billing Configuration system template. You can configure the picklists using Manufacturer and Unit Type panel on the MICS Medication Picklist system template. Additional Procedure Information

The Additional Procedure Information panel has grids used to configure picklists for the following fields on the MICS Injections/Aspirationsand MICS MedAdmin OPHtemplates: Technique Anesthetic Gage (of Needle) Improvement Appearance (of fluid aspirated) Medical Necessity Each of the grids in the Additional Procedure Information panel comes pre-loaded with entries, and has a pair of up/down arrows to the right, that you can use to arrange the order that entries in the grid appear in the picklist. The order of items in the grid is the order that items will appear in the picklist. The procedures for adding entries to grids, updating entries,making entries inactive so that they do not show in the picklist, and re-ordering them are the same for all of the grids. Add an Item to a Picklist Grid

You can add items to a picklist grid that is filtered to show Active items. For any Template selection other than MedAdmin OPH, only the Prepared By grid is available. The Surgeon and Technician grids pertain only to the MedAdmin OPH template. Select a template in the Template field. Select the field below the LastName column of the grid. A list of MLTS users opens. Search for and highlight the name of the user, as appropriate for the picklist (Surgeon, Technician, Prepared By) and select OK. The last name, first name, and user numbers fill in the fields below the grid. Select Add to save the user to the grid. Medication Picklist Template

Each of the panels in the Medication Picklist template has grids that correspond to picklists on configuration templates or medical record templates. Use the grids to configure the picklists for managing inventory and administering medications.
