Send a Task
When charges are submitted, a Task button appears. You can use it to send a task to a user or workgroup, including yourself. Select the Task button. The Reason for Tasking window opens. Enter a reason into the field and select OK. A Select Task Recipients window opens. Select the recipient (user or workgroup) from the Available Users/Workgroups list. Select Add>> to move the recipient to the Task Recipients list. As needed, repeat steps 3 and 4 to add additional recipients. Select OK to send the task. The text you entered as Reason for Tasking, shows in the field next to the Task button and in the task, description sent to the recipient’s inbox. Parent topic: Submitting Immunization Charges

Update Submitted Vaccine Administration Details
You can update the vaccine administration details after they are submitted for billing. If you have the administrative override rights, you can unlock a vaccination record to make changes or document additional information. Note: Administrative override does not remove any charges already submitted, and does not adjust the inventory count; those must be adjusted manually. On the MICS Immunizations template, expand the Immunization Administration panel. Select one of the following options to view the required order in the Immunization Orders grid: Today's Orders Prior Pending Orders Select the required vaccination record. The Admin Override button becomes available. Select Admin Override. A confirmation window appears to confirm the admin override. Select Yes. The Submit button re-appears, and the Admin Override button is replaced with red text that says Admin Override. Select the vaccination record again. Submitting Immunization Charges
Once documentation of vaccine administration is complete, you can submit charges. Submitting charges does the following: Ties the lot number to the patient Takes the medication out of inventory Locks the template for that encounter Sends the information to the Orders Module and Procedures Module Send charges to Practice Management Submit Charges Update Submitted Vaccine Administration Details You can update the vaccine administration details after they are submitted for billing. Submit Charges
Select Submit. The Submitted By fields display the user’s name, the date and timestamp. Red text indicates that the procedure was Submitted. For users with administrative override rights, an Admin Override button appears. Note: If an administered medication is documented and the quantity given exceeds the quantity available in the inventory, an alert appears. Select the Procedure Notes button. Filter the Immunization Grid
