Configuring Picklists for the MICS Med Management Template

You can configure picklists related to procedures, body parts, and locations for the MICS Med Management template. On the Medication Picklist template, in the Administering Template Body Part/Location panel, you can configure and manage picklists for the fields that are related to procedures, body parts, and locations of the MICS Med Management template. The following table describes the sections in the Administering Template Body Part/Location panel and the related fields on the MICS Med Management template. The Secondary Locations and Portals/Approaches sections are not applicable for the MICS Med Management template. Reactivate an Administering Template Picklist Item

You can restore an inactive picklist item to the active list. Select the template in the Template field. If necessary, make selections in any preceding grids to populate the grid for the picklist that has the item you want to remove. Select the Inactive option above the desired grid. Select the item from the grid. Select the Toggle button. The item is Active in the picklist and visible in the grid when the Active option is selected. Inactivate an Administering Template Picklist Item

Select the template in the Template field. If necessary, make selections in any preceding grids to populate the grid for the picklist that has the item you want to remove. With the grid filtered to Active, select the item that you want to inactivate. Select the Toggle button above the grid. The item is now Inactive; it will not appear in the picklist. Removing and Restoring Picklist Items

You cannot delete items that you have added to the picklist grids, but you can toggle them between Active status (appear in the picklist and are displayed in the grid when you select the Active option) and Inactive status (do not appear in the picklist, and are displayed in the grid when you select the Inactive option). Configuring Procedure Information Picklists

You can configure picklists related to procedures, body parts, and locations for several medical record templates. On the Medication Picklist template, you can use the Administering Template Body Part/Location panel to configure picklists for fields related to procedures, body parts, sides, and locations on the following medical record templates. MICS Dispensing MICS Injections/Aspirations MICS Med Management MICS MedAdmin OPH Administering Template Body Part/Location panel By default, the Active option is selected for all grids. When you select an option in the Template field, the grids are displayed in this panel based on the picklist requirements for the selected template.
