You can print barcode labels for specific medications or all the medications of a practice on the Barcode Configuration system template.
- From the File menu, select System \ Practice Template.
The Select Template window opens.
- In the Show section, select All.
- Double-click Specialty Config Home, or select it and then select OK.
The Specialty Config Home system template opens.
- In Specialty System Sidebar, select Barcode Configuration.
The
Barcode Configuration system template opens.
- In the Location and Sub-Location field, select the desired location and sub-location respectively.
- From the Format style of document section, select the desired format for barcode labels to be printed.
- From the Items to Display on the document section, select the options corresponding to information to be printed on the barcode labels.
The Sample of layout section displays preview of the barcode labels to be printed.
- Optional: To print barcode labels for the specific medications, select the medications in the grid.
You can search specific medications using filter options and fields above the grid.
Note: If you do not select any medication in the grid, the system prints the barcode labels for all the medications in the selected location and sub-location.
- Select Print Selected.
