Order a Vaccine

You can order a vaccine from the Create New Immunization Order for [patient name] template.

1. On the MICS Immunizations template, expand the Immunization Ordering panel.
2. Select New.
   

   The Create New Immunization Order for [patient name] template opens.

   

3. Do one of the following.
   • If the vaccine is available in the Select Vaccines grid, select the vaccine.
   • To search for a vaccine that is not in the grid, search the vaccine using Search All button and select the vaccine.
4. If an Age/Interval window opens, select Yes to continue.
5. If the Review Allergies window opens, select the appropriate option, and select Save.
   The Review Allergies window closes and the selected vaccine appears the Assign Diagnosis to Selected Vaccines grid.
6. Select Save.
   The Create New Immunization Order For [patient name] template closes.
