Export the Inventory

  1. Select the Mass Inventory Update button below the inventory grid.

    The Import/Export MEDics Inventory template opens.

  2. Create an import folder location.
  3. Enter that file path into the Import Folder Location field.

  4. Select the Export Report button.
    The Enter Parameter Values window opens. It has a list of available locations in the grid on the left and selected locations in the grid on the right.

  5. Move the locations for which you want to update the inventory, to the Selected Values grid.
    • To move all locations, click the >> button between the grids
    • To move specific locations, select them in the Available Values grid, and select the > button.
    • To remove all locations from the Selected Values grid, select the Remove All button.
    • To move specific locations from the Selected Values grid, select them and select the Remove button.
  6. Select OK to generate the report.
    The report opens.
  7. Export the report from Crystal Reports Viewer by selecting the Export Report icon in the upper left.

    A file explorer save file window opens.

  8. Change the entry in theSave as type field to Microsoft Excel (97-2003) (.xls).

  9. Select Save to save the file to the file folder.
