You can view existing macro functions and update or delete them as required. You can generate a list of current macro functionsto a specified file location.
- Do one of the following:
- Select the Macro Function button on the Main toolbar.
- In the Trigger Info or Assign Field Values window, right-click a macro function in the Macro Functions list, and then select Show Functions Library.
- Right-click the body of a template, and then select Macro Functions from the shortcut menu.
The
Macro Function Library window opens.
The Library window lists existing macro function information in four columns: Function name, Macro content, Parameter List, and Comment, if entered.
- To sort the list by a particular column in ascending or descending order, select the column header.
- To reverse the order, select the column header again.
- To display macro function details, select the macro function in the Library window.
Information for the selected macro function populates the Function, Name, and Comments boxes and the Function Body window. In this example, a macro function is used to display the appropriate text based on gender.
- To generate a list of current macro functions in a log file, enter the full file path in the Log to File box.
- Select OK.
