Search Trigger Values

You can search for specified values in conditions and parameters for selected types of triggers in the currently open template. The search values can include fields, variables, functions, characters, or other values. You can then select a trigger from the search results for editing.
  1. Do one of the following:
    • To automatically populate the search value with a specific template field, either:
      • Right-click the field, and then select Find in Triggers from the menu.
      • Select the field, and then select Find in triggers on the Main toolbar.
    • To manually enter the search value, select Find in Triggers on the Triggers window.
    The Find In Triggers window opens.

    If applicable, the search value box displays the selected field. The window contains check boxes for commonly used triggers and for conditions. The Conditions and Assign Field Value check boxes are selected by default.

  2. If the search value is blank or you want to change it, enter the value in the input box.
  3. To select the applicable trigger check box, do one of the following:
    • To select all of the check boxes, select Check All.
    • To clear all the check boxes, select Uncheck All.
    • To include disabled triggers in the search, select the Include Disabled Triggers check box.
  4. Select Find in Triggers.
    If the value is found, a message displays the number of triggers found that contain the value. The middle section of the window displays the trigger field, event, conditions, action, and parameter.

  5. To view its information in the Info box, select a trigger in the search results.
  6. To edit a trigger, double-click it to display the Trigger Info window and update the trigger as needed.
  7. To close the Find In Triggers window, select Close.
