Search Trigger Values
You can search for specified values in conditions and parameters for selected types of triggers in the currently open template. The search values can include fields, variables, functions, characters, or other values. You can then select a trigger from the search results for editing. Do one of the following: To automatically populate the search value with a specific template field, either: Right-click the field, and then select Find in Triggers from the menu. Select the field, and then select Find in triggers on the Main toolbar. To manually enter the search value, select Find in Triggers on the Triggers window. The Find In Triggers window opens. If applicable, the search value box displays the selected field. The window contains check boxes for commonly used triggers and for conditions. The Conditions and Assign Field Value check boxes are selected by default. If the search value is blank or you want to change it, enter the value in the input box. Change a Trigger
You can edit the field, event, action, or condition for an existing trigger. The edit function also provides a quick way for you to add a trigger based on an existing, simple trigger. This capability cannot be used for certain triggers that are tied to cross-reference tables (for example, the Assign Field Value trigger tied to the trig_mf_xref table). To open the Triggers window, do one of the following: Right-click anywhere on the template, and then select Triggers from the shortcut menu. On the Main toolbar, select Triggers. From the View menu, select Triggers. Select a specific field within the template. Select Triggers, select View > Triggers, or right-click the selected field, and then select Triggers from the shortcut menu. Note: The Copy and Paste buttons appear on the Triggers window only when you select a specific field on the template. In the Triggers window, select the trigger you want to change. Information entered for the selected trigger appear in the Trigger, Condition,

Set up Show Item Trigger
The Show Item action displays the selected, previously hidden field(s) on the template at run time. Follow the steps in General Trigger Setup. Select the Show Item action. The Show Template Field window opens. From the Available Template Fields pane, select each field you want to show, and then select Add. The selected fields appear in the Fields to Show pane. You can select the multiple fields by selecting the Ctrl button. Note: You can remove the selected fields by selecting the fields from Fields to Show pane and selecting the Remove button. From the Filter list, select the required filters. The Available Template Fields pane now only displays the selected filter. Note: If you have selected multiple fields to set up this trigger, the fields are automatically selected, if applicable to the action. The field that triggers the action is not included. You can remove any of the selected fields and add others. Select Script It. The Script Clipboard window opens with the script of the labe

Set up Launch Image Trigger
The Launch Image action enables you to save the current template and then launch a preselected image. Follow the applicable steps in General Trigger Setup. Select the Launch Image action. The Launch Image window opens. Select an image to be launched from the selected field. To save the information and close the window, select OK. If necessary, set up a specific condition for the Launch Image action to be triggered. Select OK and save your template. Parent topic: Setting up Specific Trigger

Create Additional Triggers for the Same Field
You can quickly add certain triggers based on existing triggers to the same field and then edit them. This functionality can save time when you have to make changes to a trigger with multiple mappings, such as the Upload Extended Data trigger. Right-click the template field that you want to copy triggers from, and select Triggers from the shortcut menu. The Triggers window opens. Select the trigger you want to copy. Information entered for the selected trigger, appears in the Trigger, Condition, Parameter, and Comment boxes. Select Copy. Select Paste. The Paste Triggers window opens. The Find and Replace With boxes both contain the name of the same field. To copy the Condition and/or Parameters for the field triggers, select the applicable check box. Condition is selected by default. To copy disabled triggers, select the Copy Disabled check box. This option is checked by default. Select OK. The selected triggers are copied.
