Set up Save Template Trigger

The Save Template action automatically saves the template. CAUTION: If you set up a Launch Document Trigger, and the template contains data that needs to be displayed on the launched document, set up a Save Template or Set up Save & Close Template Trigger first on the same field. Follow the applicable steps in General Trigger Setup. Select the Save Template action. If necessary, set up a specific condition for the Save Template action to be triggered. Set up Refresh Sidebar Trigger

The Refresh Sidebar action reloads the content of the Sidebar template at run time. Follow the applicable steps in General Trigger Setup. Select the Refresh Sidebar action. If necessary, set up a specific condition for the Refresh Sidebar action to be triggered. Select OK and save your template. Parent topic: Setting up Specific Trigger

Set up Hide Item Trigger

You can hide one or more selected fields on the template at run time using hide item trigger. Follow the steps in General Trigger Setup. Select the Hide Item action. The Hide Template Field window opens. From Available Template Fields, select each field you want to hide, and then select Add. The selected fields appear in the Fields to Hide pane. You can select the multiple fields by selecting the Ctrl button. You can remove the selected fields by selecting the fields from the Fields to Hide pane and selecting the Remove button. From Filter, select the required filters. The Available Template Fields pane now displays the selected filter. Note: If you have selected multiple fields to set up this trigger, the fields are automatically selected. The field that triggers the action is not included. You can remove any of the selected fields and add others. Select Script It. The Script Clipboard window opens with the script of the label. To copy the script to clipboard, you can select Copy to C

Set up Template Pop-Up Trigger

The Template Pop-Up action launches a predefined Popup template. You can place this trigger on fields on Sidebar templates as well as other template types. Use this trigger together with a Get Template Notification Data trigger to launch Popup templates for the Graphical Exam Tool (GET) component. Follow the applicable steps in General Trigger Setup. Select the Template Pop-Up action. The Template Pop-Up window opens. Select the template or the field or variable you want to use to launch the template pop-up. Select Fields, Templates, or Variables, and then select the applicable item from the list that displays. Select the Ignore Alias check box to use the original NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Note: This functionality is available only if the NextGen® Enterprise EHR have been locked down. Select Script It. The Script Clipboard window opens with the script of the label. To copy the script to clipboard, select Copy to Clipboard. To close the window, select OK. If necessary, set up a specific

Set up Region Highlight Trigger

The Region Highlight action selects a highlighted region of an active image. Follow the applicable steps in General Trigger Setup. Select the Region Highlight action. The Region Highlight window opens. Select an Active Image Field from the list. Select a Region. To trigger the subsequent action in the selected active image region, select either the Highlight or Unhighlight option. If necessary, select the Combine image and color and/or Use color and pattern check box(es), and then select the Pattern and Color from the respective lists. To save the information and close the window, select OK. If necessary, set up a specific condition for the Region Highlight action to be triggered. Select OK and save your template. Set up Toggle Panel Trigger

The Toggle Panel action enables users to expand and collapse one or more panels on a template. Note: Another way to toggle collapsible panels is through a toggle button on the panel header. Follow the applicable steps in General Trigger Setup. Select the Toggle Panel action. The Toggle Panel window opens. This window lists each collapsible panel that has been added to the template. From the Action list, select the applicable action: Collapse. Collapses all or selected panels. Cycle Down. Cycles all panels as follows: Moves and collapses the top panel down one in position. Expands and moves the last panel to the top. Cycle Up. Cycles all panels as follows: Expands and moves the second panel to the top. Moves and collapses the top panel to the bottom position. Defaults. Restores the default trigger settings to all panels. Expand. Expands all or selected panels. Toggle. Switches all or selected panels to the opposite state. Top. Reorders one or more selected panels according to the order
