Set up Launch Image Trigger

The Launch Image action enables you to save the current template and then launch a preselected image. Follow the applicable steps in General Trigger Setup. Select the Launch Image action. The Launch Image window opens. Select an image to be launched from the selected field. To save the information and close the window, select OK. If necessary, set up a specific condition for the Launch Image action to be triggered. Select OK and save your template. Parent topic: Setting up Specific Trigger

Manage Clear Trigger

The Clear action clears all edit fields on a template at run time. Follow the applicable steps in General Trigger Setup. Select the Clear action to display the Clear window, which asks if you want to prompt. Select an option in response to Should the user be prompted during the execution of this trigger? To prompt the user to confirm the Clear action at run time, select Yes. If you do not want to prompt the user, select No. To set the prompt from a template field, select the Use Template Field option, and then select the field from the list. To save the information and close the window, select OK. If necessary, set up a specific condition for the Clear action to be triggered. To save the trigger and close the Trigger Info window, select OK. The trigger is listed in the Triggers window. Select OK and save your template. Parent topic: Setting up Specific Trigger

Set up Show Item Trigger

The Show Item action displays the selected, previously hidden field(s) on the template at run time. Follow the steps in General Trigger Setup. Select the Show Item action. The Show Template Field window opens. From the Available Template Fields pane, select each field you want to show, and then select Add. The selected fields appear in the Fields to Show pane. You can select the multiple fields by selecting the Ctrl button. Note: You can remove the selected fields by selecting the fields from Fields to Show pane and selecting the Remove button. From the Filter list, select the required filters. The Available Template Fields pane now only displays the selected filter. Note: If you have selected multiple fields to set up this trigger, the fields are automatically selected, if applicable to the action. The field that triggers the action is not included. You can remove any of the selected fields and add others. Select Script It. The Script Clipboard window opens with the script of the labe

Set up Set Default Values Trigger

The Set Default Values action assigns user-defined default values to the data entry fields that have default contents set up. Follow the applicable steps in General Trigger Setup. Select the Set Default Values action. If necessary, set up a specific condition for the Set Default Values action to be triggered. Select OK and save your template. Set up Save Template Trigger

The Save Template action automatically saves the template. CAUTION: If you set up a Launch Document Trigger, and the template contains data that needs to be displayed on the launched document, set up a Save Template or Set up Save & Close Template Trigger first on the same field. Follow the applicable steps in General Trigger Setup. Select the Save Template action. If necessary, set up a specific condition for the Save Template action to be triggered. Set up Reports Trigger

The Reports action provides you with a set of reports template triggers. Using these triggers, you can display a specific report or a full list of available reports, or you can generate a specific report. Follow the applicable steps in General Trigger Setup. Select the Reports action. The Reports Action window opens. From the Action list, select one of these actions. Display Report Select the Report Type and Report Name from the respective lists. Report List Generate Report From the Enterprise list, select Y or N or a template field. To save the information and close the window, select OK.
