Set up Launch Image Trigger

The Launch Image action enables you to save the current template and then launch a preselected image. Follow the applicable steps in General Trigger Setup. Select the Launch Image action. The Launch Image window opens. Select an image to be launched from the selected field. To save the information and close the window, select OK. Set up Reports Trigger

The Reports action provides you with a set of reports template triggers. Using these triggers, you can display a specific report or a full list of available reports, or you can generate a specific report. Follow the applicable steps in General Trigger Setup. Select the Reports action. The Reports Action window opens. From the Action list, select one of these actions. Display Report Select the Report Type and Report Name from the respective lists. Report List Generate Report From the Enterprise list, select Y or N or a template field. To save the information and close the window, select OK. Change a Trigger

You can edit the field, event, action, or condition for an existing trigger. The edit function also provides a quick way for you to add a trigger based on an existing, simple trigger. This capability cannot be used for certain triggers that are tied to cross-reference tables (for example, the Assign Field Value trigger tied to the trig_mf_xref table). To open the Triggers window, do one of the following: Right-click anywhere on the template, and then select Triggers from the shortcut menu. On the Main toolbar, select Triggers. From the View menu, select Triggers. Select a specific field within the template. Select Triggers, select View > Triggers, or right-click the selected field, and then select Triggers from the shortcut menu. Note: The Copy and Paste buttons appear on the Triggers window only when you select a specific field on the template. In the Triggers window, select the trigger you want to change. Information entered for the selected trigger appear in the Trigger, Condition,

The Set Default Values action assigns user-defined default values to the data entry fields that have default contents set up. Follow the applicable steps in General Trigger Setup. Select the Set Default Values action. If necessary, set up a specific condition for the Set Default Values action to be triggered. Select OK and save your template. Enter Template Default Set Values

The Template Default Set Values section displays the default values assigned to the set. The fields below the Template Default Set Values grid are used to assign default values to specific fields in the default set. Select a row from the grid in the Currently Available Template Default Sets section. The existing default values associated with the selected set appear in the grid under the Template Default Set Values section. To add a new default value in the Template Default Set Values section: Click the Template Name field and select a template from the list. Click the Field Name field to select a field from the list. In the Default Value field, enter a new default value. Click the Add Value button. The newly added value appears in the grid under the Template Default Set Values section. To update an existing default value: Highlight a grid row to modify. The data displays in the corresponding fields below the grid. Make changes as need and click Update Value. Set up Save Template Trigger

The Save Template action automatically saves the template. CAUTION: If you set up a Launch Document Trigger, and the template contains data that needs to be displayed on the launched document, set up a Save Template or Set up Save & Close Template Trigger first on the same field. Follow the applicable steps in General Trigger Setup. Select the Save Template action. If necessary, set up a specific condition for the Save Template action to be triggered.
