Set up Web XChange Trigger

The Web XChange action is used with the web browser field. It enables you to: Copy text from a web page or data from a specific field on the page into a template data entry (edit) or note field. Copy a web page URL into a template data entry or note field. Copy data between a template data entry or note field and a web page field. Submit the form in a web page, which usually takes you to the next web page. Follow the applicable steps in General Trigger Setup. Select the Web XChange action. The Web Data Exchange window opens. From the Web Field list, select the web browser field you created. From the Template Field list, select the template field or variable to be used for the data exchange. Note: You can select Memo-type, data entry fields from the Template Field list. If you select Submit Form as the XChange Action, you do not need to select a template field. Set up Show Item Trigger

The Show Item action displays the selected, previously hidden field(s) on the template at run time. Follow the steps in General Trigger Setup. Select the Show Item action. The Show Template Field window opens. From the Available Template Fields pane, select each field you want to show, and then select Add. The selected fields appear in the Fields to Show pane. You can select the multiple fields by selecting the Ctrl button. Note: You can remove the selected fields by selecting the fields from Fields to Show pane and selecting the Remove button. From the Filter list, select the required filters. The Available Template Fields pane now only displays the selected filter. Note: If you have selected multiple fields to set up this trigger, the fields are automatically selected, if applicable to the action. The field that triggers the action is not included. You can remove any of the selected fields and add others. Select Script It. The Script Clipboard window opens with the script of the labe

Drag the Web Browser icon from the Fields toolbar to the template design area where you want to place it. The Insert Web Browser window opens. Note: You may need to enlarge your template to make room for the field. In the Name box, enter the name for the field or select it from the list. If a web browser field is on a sub template, select the Make Public check box to make it available to the template that the sub template is placed on. In the URL box, enter the website or web-supported type file to be loaded by default when the template is accessed at run time. Do one of the following: Enter the URL or select the variable or template field that supplies the URL from the list. To display the NextGen ® Dashboard web application, select Patient Dashboard from the list. To browse for a specific file on your network, select the ellipsis button. The Select Default URL window opens. Locate and select the file you want to use. To find a file quickly, enter the first letter of the file name in
