ROWS Data Sheet Function

Use: Displays the number of rows in a data sheet on the template Syntax: {ROWS( «datasheet» )} Arguments: «datasheet» Name of the data sheet Note: The data sheet must be on the same template as the function. ROWID Data Sheet Function

Use: Displays the database sequence number (seq_no) for a row selected from a data grid on the template. Note: This function can be used only with the following data sheet types: Data Grid - CM, Data Grid - DM, Data Grid - MR, and Summary Data Grid. The sequence number is returned only if the selected row belongs to the current encounter. Syntax: {ROWID( «datagrid» )} Arguments: «datagrid» Name of the data grid Note: The data grid must be on the same template as the function. Returns: The sequence number (globally unique identifier (GUID)) from the database table that holds the information contained in the row. Example: Data grid allergy_ext_popup with selected row{ROWID( allergy_ext_popup )} Result: The sequence number for the selected row is displayed in the edit field assigned the value. EXISTS String Function

Use: Determines if the provided parameter exists on a template. Syntax: {EXISTS( «string» )} Arguments: <<string>> String is the fieldname Returns: 1 = If the field exists on the template 0 = If the field does not exist on the template Example: {EXISTS(«field_name»)} Result: Returns 1 if field exists on the template else 0. FLOOR Function

Use: Calculates the floor of the provided value. Syntax: {FLOOR( «value» )} Arguments: «value» Numeric or decimal value Returns: The rounds down to the integer. Example: {CEILING(7.2) Result: 7 Parent topic: Functions

ISVISIBLE Function

Use: Indicates whether a field is visible or hidden on a template. The result can be used in the condition for a Show Item trigger, Hide Item trigger or Refresh Data Grid trigger. This function is not supported for a collapsible panel, order control, or sub template. Syntax: {ISVISIBLE( «field» )} Arguments: «field» Field name Returns: 1 = Visible 0 = Hidden Example: Data Sheet field = encounter_sheet_001Button field = assign_function_valueNumeric data entry field = isvisible_indicatorOn the assign_function_value button field, set up a Button Click event/Assign Field Value trigger with the following value calculation: template_name_.isvisible_indicator = {ISVISIBLE( encounter_sheet_001 )} Result: The encounter sheet field is visible on the template, so 1 displays in the isvisible_indicator field. SUBS String Function
